  1. Ew, this is a travesty. Lexington is one of the biggest shitholes I’ve ever encountered. Decent places in SC include Charleston, Beaufort, Greenville, Camden, and well… stay near the beach or the mountains.

    1. Don’t forget Spartanburg. Spartanburg regional is a Top ranked hospital (ranked #2 in the state in 2018, #1 last year, US New and world report), 10 institutions of higher education, cultural and art centers, low taxes, low crime rate, International airport 15-20 minutes away. Interstates I-85 and 26 just outside the city. Median home value is $109.000. 45 minutes from the mountains, 3-4 hours from Charleston and Myrtle Beach. Moderate climate. Learn more at:

    2. You nailed Lexington County. And nobody seems to ever mention Charleston’s awful kosher deli smell of the paper mill wafting through the air.
Edit: This part you nailed… “It’s overrun with urban sprawl, no zoning laws.” I don’t think it’s a s*hole. But Hwy 378 is a strip mall (from I-20 to Lex) & Hwy #1 is well on its way.

    1. CthulhuChow I’ve heard sooo much bad garbage about SC…I just don’t believe it..99% of everyone I’ve met and or talked/chatted with ARE AWESOME folks…

    2. The Hermanator and spurgle my Old Man was born and raised in Spartanburg, and the tales he told of the infestation were brutal. i’m from gaffney and they’ve been like locust here over my lifetime of 45yrs.

  2. I live in Summerville by Charleston and this whole SC area is a shithole. Do not move here unless you make 100k a year. Cost of living is way to much for what you get. The one and only benefit is your (15 miles= to 45-1hr) drive from the ocean. other than that, don’t move here, I’ll be leaving soon and I make about 90k a year with 2 kids.and a wife. Also SC is ranked 50 out of 50 in education, meaning there are a lot of “special people” here. Traffic is a nightmare at any given time. Stay away, unless you just visit.

    1. The Hermanator and spurgle definitely, i left California because of the politics, California is not for the RIGHT kinda people, the lefters can keep cali. I love sc laws. California can learn a thing or everything from SC. I will never go back, in sc for life.

Good luck with the heat and the Humidity!
Be careful of the poisonous snakes and the scorpions.. Not to mention the Fire ants and the bugs They are are everywhere and it can kill you..
There are a lot of shallow liberals in SC.. Many people are on food stamps and the majority of them are Obama lovers !

    3. Kays Kaysi lol yeah, I’ve killed some of those scorpions, i was told to not kill the black snakes, because they keep the deadly snakes away, the ants are fn huge! Haven’t met any snowflakes yet, i have county job so don’t have to worry about me on food stamps, im pro trump, obama is a criminal in my opinion. Definitely beautiful country, oh and the chiggers suck, talk about itchy bites.

haha.. You’re Right! We, the deplorable, have our own agenda!
Black snakes are good.. My current contractor once found an 8ft one inside a wall that he cut to put a window! Didn’t tell my wife or else she will freak out.. We rented that place ( in Greenville close to downtown) and now we’re in Upstate NY.. my wife is from Maine so the weather fits her better here..
Dude.. these Snowflakes have literally lost their mind !

    5. Kays Kaysi i know man, some of the stuff that comes out there mouth is mind-blowing. I lived in watertown when i was a kid. My wife would run so fast so far i would never see her again.

    1. The summer starts in April and lasts until November.. It can reach up to 108F in most July and August days with 90’s humidity.. Poisonous snakes and scorpions.. not to mention the fire ants ! I lived there for 5 years.
“ Greenville and Charleston “ The Traffic is HORRIBLE .. Stay away unless you’re visiting during the winter time !

    2. Gamerboys66666 N i didn’t say i didn’t like charleston, i love it with all my heart. i’m just saying to stop moving to charleston in the past 5 years we’ve gotten over populated and traffic has gotten way worse

  3. Jeeezzz people… the picture at minute 6:51 is the Horseshoe located at the center of the University of South Carolina, Columbia… NOT Clemson. Also you murdered the pronunciation of the town of Mauldin… it is pronounced Mall-Den. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.

  4. What they don’t tell you is our summer lasts longer than most ?. The rest of the year is maybe four months ?. Oh god they added Seven Oaks. Delete it. Burn it.

  5. ok i live about 20 mins from Tega Cay and there is a good crime right there,Fort Mill SUCKS which is 15 mins away from me and Charleston is on this but Beaufort/Hilton Head Island isn’t?Charleston is the WORSE part of SC lol

    1. never been there so can’t say anything.i’m from Beaufort/Hilton Head Island.i try not to talk down on places i’ve never been.heard some good about Aiken like the downtown bar scene but also heard a good bit of bad about it like the crime rate

  6. Screw moving to this state!!!! They don’t care abt ppl with seizure disorders and needing medical marijuana???? Keep BACKWARD S.CAROLINA
