  1. I don’t agree with this list at all. If you’re not in high tech its extremely expensive to afford San Jose, and McAllen, TX has high crime.

  2. I’m a native San Josean and this city and the whole metropolitan area is not a great place to live unless you have a great job with great pay. Even if you do have the money to buy yourself into a decent area, you’re pretty much guaranteed to live next to a home with serveral families living together. It’s a serious problem and I’m leaving next year to enjoy my retirement in a more affordable state.
